POSITION :Regional Manager

This position is responsible to provide day-to-day leadership and overall business direction and management of Regional Office (RO) with all assigned Branch Offices (BO) in coordination with the Operations Manager and other supporting units or departments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure adequate branch structure and manpower to accommodate business need;
  • Prepare necessary contingent plan for pilot and/or rollout new products or projects such as cashless business model, CBMC reduction, mobile banking, VPS project via iPad, CSS, new structure revision, and so on;
  • Ensure that the branch annual plan of actions and budgets are effectively implemented;
  • Ensure all systems, policies, procedures, and applications are followed and consistently implemented in every Branch office;
  • Ensure the effective implementation of audit’s, Quality Assurance’s, and raters’ recommendations or suggestions to improve overall branches compliance and performances;
  • Take necessary actions to continuously improve fraud prevention and detection;
  • Ensure lending businesses proceed with good quality and effectiveness, while delinquency is effectively resolved and managed;
  • Ensure savings target delivery with satisfied customer services practice;
  • Ensure other products/services and credit plus and non-financial services such as financial education, additional benefit, insurance, etc., and other social performance requirements are being fulfilled by Client Service Officers (CSO) and BMs to most benefit clients;
  • Oversee effective liquidity management;
  • Provide support to Quality Assurance Officer (QAO), Loan Recovery Officer (LRO), and Underwriter to actively perform their job;
  • Provide inputs on innovative redesign of the best methods and practices, systems and tools for the VPS for improved branch business operations and development of financial and non-financial products/services lines to satisfy clients;
  • Strengthen the capacity of staff/subordinates through continuous on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching;
  • Identify and build capacity of second liners/HIPOs (BMs) to be ready for the arising opportunity;
  • Strictly monitor and reinforce the implementation of external and internal audit, rating agencies and National Bank of Cambodia’s findings and recommendations;
  • Oversee the branch costs & profitability, and maintain a good portfolio at risk, including monthly monitoring on branch’s main KPIs;

REQUIREMENT COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor Degree in Economic, Management, Finance & Banking, Accounting, Marketing or other related fields is preferred;
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in microfinance or banking institution;
  • Experiences with SME loans and MFI/banking experiences is preferable;
  • Strong balance of business/credit management and social performance orientation;
  • Ability to work under pressure and be highly self-motivated;
  • Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment, trustworthiness, and willing to work and live in the province;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, staff supervision, training and management skills;
  • Good working knowledge of computers and English;
  • Good networking and relationship building with team influence experiences are a bonus.
